Does homeowners insurance cover roof damage in NJ?

How do I know if I need a new roof or just a repair?
Whole-roof shingle curling, granules filling gutters, sagging, or a roof over 20–25 years old usually means replacement. Isolated damage on a young roof can usually be repaired.
What time of year is best to replace a roof in NJ?
Late spring through early fall is ideal. Shingles seal best between 50° and 85°F. Winter installs require hand-sealing.
